Beyond The Jobsite

Giving back is at the heart of who we are, strengthening our communities and supporting the people and organizations that make a difference.

Building Stronger Communities

Giving back at AmeriTech is personal. We believe in taking care of the communities we call home and standing beside the veterans and military families who have sacrificed so much for our country. They showed up for us, and when life gets hard, we want to show up for them. Whether it’s lending a hand, giving our time, or supporting someone through a difficult moment, we believe making a difference starts with simply being there when it matters most.

AmeriHope

In 2024, AmeriTech CEO Drew DiSilvestro and Executive Vice President Dan Reilly saw a need they couldn’t ignore. Veterans and military families facing life-altering circumstances were sometimes falling through the gaps of existing support systems, and when a crisis hits, waiting for help isn’t always an option. They co-founded AmeriHope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to help bridge those gaps and provide meaningful assistance when it’s needed most.

Today, AmeriHope supports veterans, military families, and individuals facing terminal illnesses through financial assistance, compassionate support, and connections to critical resources. Its mission is simple: when someone is facing one of life’s hardest moments, they shouldn’t have to face it alone. What started as a desire to step in and help has become an important part of our commitment to service, turning gratitude into action and standing behind those who have sacrificed for others.

Honoring Our Nation and Its Heroes

Golf Tournament

Each year, AmeriTech Contracting supports the Scott Dahl Memorial Golf Tournament, AmeriHope’s signature fundraiser, uniting employees, clients, partners, friends, and family to honor our founder, Scott and advance AmeriHope’s mission.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, devoted husband and father, and driving force behind AmeriTech, Scott built a culture of integrity, loyalty, craftsmanship, service, and respect. After losing his battle with cancer in 2026, his leadership, resilience, and generosity live on through the tournament, supporting veterans, military families, and individuals facing terminal illnesses.

Flag Sponsorship

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), AmeriTech proudly supports initiatives honoring service members, veterans, and military families. In 2026, AmeriTech sponsored American flags for Middletown, Connecticut’s annual downtown display, symbolizing patriotism, unity, and gratitude.

Organized by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, Middletown Fire Department, City Alarm Division, and Public Works Department, this community tradition brings people together in appreciation. AmeriTech is honored to recognize the service and sacrifices of veterans, active-duty military members, and their families.

Military Leave

AmeriTech proudly supports employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. We understand the important role these citizen service members play in protecting our nation, and we are committed to ensuring they can fulfill their military obligations while continuing to build successful civilian careers.

Our military leave benefits provide employees with the flexibility and support they need during training exercises, deployments, and other military commitments. By fostering a workplace that values service, we help our employees answer the call to duty with confidence, knowing they have the support of their AmeriTech family.
