VA Leeds Foundation Crack Repairs
Following the identification of widespread foundation cracking and moisture intrusion across multiple buildings at a major healthcare campus in Leeds, Massachusetts, AmeriTech Contracting performed extensive structural concrete repairs to restore integrity and prevent further deterioration. Work included selective excavation to expose below-grade foundation walls, epoxy crack injection, joint sealing, waterproofing membrane installation, and restoration of disturbed landscaping and hardscape across Buildings 1, 11, 14, 15/16, and 25. Crews utilized specialized equipment and controlled excavation techniques to safely access confined areas without impacting adjacent structures or ongoing facility operations.
Throughout construction, AmeriTech coordinated closely with facility personnel to maintain safe access around active patient care and administrative areas. As conditions evolved, additional repairs were incorporated, including media blasting for waterproofing preparation, interior crack remediation, and reconstruction of concrete stairs and adjacent structural elements. These efforts ensured long-term durability of the foundations while minimizing disruption to the active healthcare environment.
