Rob comes to AmeriTech Contracting with a background as a lieutenant in law enforcement. He is a proactive and forward-thinking professional with diverse experience in public safety, emergency management, and community relations. As manager of our business development team, Rob promotes a positive company culture and keeps everyone mission ready. Rob is especially adept at responding to crises as they arise, as evidenced by his leadership through COVID-19 during which he was tasked with developing and managing the logistics of a COVID isolation facility for city police officers and firefighters. His ability to think outside the box and get things done was further evidenced in 2021 when he was Division Commander of the New Haven Police Academy and took the lead as project manager, completing a proposal for a “360 virtual simulation” system for police training. Working in tandem with the city engineer, he developed and oversaw the creation of an entire facility to house the system, the first of its kind on the East Coast.

Rob’s skills were learned in part from his time of service in the US Army Reserve as a military police officer and in the US Navy as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Third Class. Boatswain’s Mates are the leaders and the backbone of every ship’s crew and are the oldest rate in the Navy. AmeriTech is proud to have Rob, and his vast experience, onboard.
