Cat Pikula

Catherine Pikula is the Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO, Drew DiSilvestro. She is a former teacher, a published writer and entrepreneur who once started a floral design business.

She joined AmeriTech in the Spring of 2025 after the retirement of her previous employer, a Nobel Prize-winning economist and director of a Columbia University research center, whom she supported for eight years. During that time she assisted with writing and editing academic articles, speeches, lectures, and several books including a memoir; helped organize seminars and conferences; managed social media and website updates; and served as a communications liaison between her employer and global media outlets, international business owners and entrepreneurs, fellow academics, students, and the general public.

As a Senior Executive Assistant at AmeriTech, she serves as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive leadership. She drives organizational efficiency through exceptional coordination, clear communication, and the successful navigation of competing priorities. Building upon her background in creative writing, Catherine strives to communicate directly and with concision, cutting through the noise to get to the heart of the matter.

Recognized for her strong attention to detail, copious notes, endless lists, and unwavering commitment to follow-through, Catherine is often the person who ensures important tasks, decisions, and deadlines don’t fall through the cracks. She is never afraid to ask the clarifying questions and is always willing to share knowledge and support her peers.

She is also committed to fostering professional development opportunities within the workplace and has been actively involved in beta testing company trainings, organizing book discussions, and planning company events designed to strengthen organizational culture and support continuous learning.

In 2026 she was a finalist for Washington Exec’s Executive Assistant of the Year award.
