Jackie Post

Jackie Post is a communications professional, journalist, and marketing strategist with more than 20 years of experience in media, storytelling, content development, and community engagement.

Jackie began her media career as a news anchor with LIN Media, where she served as the anchor of the region’s #1-rated newscast for eight consecutive years.

Building on her journalism foundation, Jackie expanded into marketing and communications, supporting organizations through strategic content development, copywriting, and audience engagement initiatives. As a copywriter for E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting, she developed promotional materials, website content, newsletters, and marketing communications that strengthened customer engagement and supported business growth.

She also served as host of NBCUniversal’s CT Live!, where she partnered with sales and marketing teams to produce engaging television segments highlighting local businesses and community organizations.

In 2018, Jackie founded The Scoop Glastonbury, a popular local news and community platform dedicated to sharing stories that connect residents, businesses, and organizations. Through original reporting, digital content creation, and community partnerships, she has grown the platform into a trusted source of local information that reaches thousands of residents every week while helping small businesses increase visibility and drive engagement.
