Robert Maturo
Robert E. Maturo serves as Vice President of Logistics and Business Development at AmeriTech, where he oversees operational coordination, logistics strategy, business development initiatives, and organizational support functions that drive efficiency, accountability, and long-term growth across the company.
Robert has more than two decades of progressive leadership experience spanning law enforcement, military service, emergency management, and organizational operations. His background includes extensive expertise in personnel leadership, crisis management, investigations, operational planning, compliance, and multi-agency coordination within both municipal and federal environments.
Prior to joining AmeriTech, Robert served in several leadership roles within the New Haven Police Department, including Commander of Training and Lieutenant at the New Haven Police Department, where he oversaw daily operations, managed supervisors and recruits, and helped develop departmental training programs and leadership initiatives.
During his time at the academy, Robert also led the development of an advanced police training simulation facility, helping implement one of the first 360-degree virtual training systems on the East Coast in coordination with the City Engineer and project teams.
Robert also served as Administrative Lieutenant within the Records Division and as an Investigative Supervisor and Sergeant within the Investigative Services Division, where he led complex investigations and supported multi-jurisdictional collaboration efforts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was tasked with developing and managing the logistics of an isolation facility supporting city police officers and firefighters, further strengthening his expertise in emergency response coordination and operational leadership.
His experience in emergency management is further supported through extensive FEMA, Incident Command System (ICS), and National Incident Management System (NIMS) training, providing him with strong expertise in crisis response, operational coordination, and leadership during high-pressure situations. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to lead through organizational change, strengthen team performance, and foster positive community and professional relationships.
In addition to his law enforcement career, Robert served in both the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer and the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Third Class aboard the USS John F. Kennedy. His military background included technical systems maintenance, safety operations, and mission-critical support functions, helping shape his disciplined leadership style, operational mindset, and commitment to teamwork and accountability.
Robert maintains certifications in OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health, First Aid/CPR/AED, and USACE Construction Quality Management. Outside of work, Rob enjoys skiing, fishing, and traveling with family.
